HOW TO PREPARE YOURSELF FOR BLOOD TESTS

Many factors affect the results of laboratory tests. Disturbing factors should be minimised so as to obtain reliable results. This is why the tests are preferably taken in the morning or before noon.

On the day before
On the day of the blood test

You can eat and drink normally

Stay awake for at least
one hour before the test

Avoid alcohol,
maximum one bottle of beer

Avoid being strained
and getting out of breath

After 22.00 only one glass of water, avoid smoking, coffee or medicines

Sit relaxed for at least 15 minutes in order to balance your blood circulation
